About the TW Liberal Democrats

The Tunbridge Wells Liberal Democrats are an active local party. Councillor Ben Chapelard is the leader of the Lib Dems on the Borough Council and a St. James Councillor, Councillor David Neve is a St. James Councillor and Peter Lidstone represents St. Johns. Trevor Poile is a Councillor on the Southborough Town Council. We also have Parish Councillors in Capel and Hawkhurst.

The Liberal Democrats stand for social justice and freedom for all from discrimination. We fight hard for local people so that your voices are heard at the local and national level. We are currently engaging with the owners of the old cinema site to put your views forward as they consider their plans for development. We are also calling for a doorstep glass recycling campaign, better bicycle lanes and supporting the 20 is Plenty Campaign.

Rachel Sadler is our parliamentary candidate and is working hard to represent the views of local people to make a case for a good relationship with the European Union and robust public services. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. We are always looking for new members and volunteers.
