Councillor Peter Crawford
Councillor Peter Crawford is married with three grown-up children. He served in the forces, and then ran his own Driving School. Since losing his right leg in 2000, he helps with the Amputee Support Group at Kent and Sussex Hospital. His main priorities on the Council are controls on vandalism and drugs, and access for disabled and older people.

Jackie Prance is a hardworking Lib Dem activist and has a long association with Pembury. She lived in the village with her husband Bob for over 15 years before moving to the town and her children attended the primary school. She is an active member of the community and is keen to get stuck in to village issues.

Bob Prance
Bob Prance is married with two grown up daughters who went to schools locally. His interests include the Open University and fund raising for a large local charity. Bob has taken early retirement from a job in finance which he did for over 37 years. He now works part time and is in the final stages of an Open University degree course.
Bob is standing for the Borough Council for the first time and wants the opportunity to 'put something back' by promoting the views and aspirations of the people of Rusthall as well as making a positive contribution to Tunbridge Wells, the town where he has lived for over 30 years. He is particularly keen on environmental issues and to see that opportunities, especially for the young, are available for everyone both at national and local level.

Alan Bullion
Alan Bullion has lived in this area all his life, and went to the Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys. He has worked in publishing since leaving school and gained a first degree and a PhD as a part-time mature student at the Open University. Alan now works for a leading agricultural information publisher based in Tunbridge Wells. His special related interests are the environment, housing, planning and public transport.

Mary moved to Tunbridge Wells in 1964 and has represented St James since 1993. She has three children and four grandchildren. Her particular interests are sustainable development, maintaining the principles of Agenda 21, the promotion of public transport and the reduction of congestion and pollution.

Councillor David Neve has lived in St James Ward for the past 15 years and has been a councillor for the area for the last 14 years. He is also the leader of the Liberal Democrat Councillors on the Borough Council. He is married with two children. He aims, first and foremost, to reflect the views of local people when dealing with the Borough Council.

Councillor Lesley Herriot
Lesley has lived in St Johns for over 30 years, and in TW all her life and is happily married with 2 adult children. She has been actively involved in the local community for many years, and has been an adminstrator and home educator. She still runs a home education group, and also gives advice to many families and is a member of No2ID and the Morris Minor Owners Club, is a school governor and Trustee of Shopmobility. She has been active in the campaign to keep St Johns Post Office open and the Campaign to Save the Homeopathic Hospital. She believes in helping people with whatever they need and whenever they need it, and residents are always wlecome to contact her. She finds her time on the Council has kept her busy but still has time for her many interests including geneology where she discovered that her family have been in St Johns for over 150 years, walking, and is also a compulsive reader and chocoholic.

Marguerita Morton has lived in Tunbridge Wells for 31 years. She works as a legal consultant for the Treasury Solicitor in London and has legal and financial experience in large multinational and international organisations. Marguerita has a daughter at University. She will campaign to improve our parks and recreation areas, the provision of high quality services to the community, ensure revitalisation of Southborough town centre and work for better local facilities in the borough.
