Jamie Johnson is a professional boxer and has in the past been selected to play soccer at international level. As Borough Candidate for Broadwater Ward she would work to Knock Out crime. Jamie has lived in the Broadwater area of Tunbridge Wells all her life and she attended St Mark's Primary School and Bennett Memorial School. In the Territorial Army, Jamie was a combat Medical Technician during the first Gulf War. She is now committed to serving the whole community. Jamie would:- 1. Work to reduce graffiti, vandalism and crime on our streets.
2. Support CCTV coverage in Showfields and Ramslye where residents want it. 3. Campaign for more Community Policing. 4. Pressure Tunbridge Wells Borough Council to introduce more traffic calming measures in Broadwater.
5. Support the Community shop in Ramslye. 6. Continue to support Number One in Showfields. 7. Work for better play areas for children. 8. Campaign for greater safety on the Eridge Road. 9. Pressure Tunbridge Wells Borough Council to improve the surfaces of our roads and pavements. 10. Resist pressure for mobile phone masts in unsuitable areas.
11. Protect our precious green areas such as Tunbridge Wells Common. 12. Campaign against the unfair Council Tax.
