Would You Like to make a Real Impact on Council Tax?

11.40.49pm BST (GMT +0100) Wed 23rd Jun 2004

Or help in the running of a local school? Would you like to become a Councillor or school governor?

Elected Councillors decide local issues such as, Council Tax, planning, traffic calming, recycling, CCTV, etc

Nominated school governors monitor, for example, school curriculum, finance and performance.

Putting something back into the community is one of the most worthwhile things an individual can do. Councillors should reflect the views of the whole community.

If you are interested in becoming a Councillor or school governor in Tunbridge Wells, as a first stage please e-mail us at twlibdems@aol.com.

Thank you.
