David "The Tories have to take the blame for the shambolic admissions system."

David Neve, Borough Councillor and County candidate, took his message to Pembury, Sherwood and St James this week. David has two children who are now in further education but complaints have been made to him about the current education system. "Parents are complaining about the admissions system and how they cannot get their child into their first choice school. The admissions system is shambolic and the Tories have to take the blame for that."

To make the situation worse," he added", the Tories have never spent up to government guidelines on schools or the youth service and standards at primary schools age 7and 11 and 6th form results are below the national average."

"With so many parents not getting their first choice, their children have to travel further afield to find a school," said Laura Murphy, Parliamentary Candidate. "The government wants to scrap free school transport. Liberal Democrats at County and national level will oppose that."
