Many local people are already saying they will be backing Tom Symondson in the by-election for a new Councillor after the sad death of Bruce Ballantine.

David Mills, local Lib Dem Councillor, says "Tom is an energetic campaigner who will really work for Pembury ward".

"Responses so far have been very positive" says Tom. "People are pleasantly surprised to see a young face involved in local politics. I have also had a lot of supportive comments from disillusioned Conservative voters, fed up with the poor Tory record in Tunbridge Wells, who are thinking of voting for me on 30th June"
