Tunbridge Wells Liberal Democrats are holding the governing Tunbridge Wells Tories to account. Their record is one of cut after cut after cut.

The Tories have delivered cut after cut after cut

Their administration has been responsible for, for example:

1. The closure of the Cranbrook offices which caused the closure of Age Concern and has led to the Blind Club moving out of Cranbrook altogether.

2. The end of free parking on Sundays in the face of massive opposition from many people including local residents and faith groups. The Lib Dems discovered that a flat rate of £1.50 for the day would raise enough money to balance the books, but the Tories are happy to charge £4.60!

3. Taking £100,000 out of the public toilets budget that means many will have to close.

4. Cutting the amount of money they pay towards Trinity Arts Centre and the Assembly Hall.

5. Taking money out of budgets for tourism, leisure centres, events, planning and car park maintenance.

And all this despite increasing council tax by 5%!

Assessing the Conservatives by their record as outlined above, a vote for the Conservatives on May 1st is a vote for cuts in public services.
