About the TW Liberal Democrats

The Tunbridge Wells Liberal Democrats are an active local party. Councillor Ben Chapelard is the leader of the Lib Dems on the Borough Council and a St. James Councillor, Councillor David Neve is a St. James Councillor and Peter Lidstone, Mark Ellis and Marguerita Morton represent St. Johns. Andrew Hickey represents Pantiles and St. Marks, James Rands represents Culverden, Dave Funnell represents Rusthall and Trevor Poile is a both a Borough Councillor for Southborough North and a Councillor on the Southborough Town Council. Jackie Prance and Alan Bullion are also Southborough Town Councillors. We also have Parish Councillors in Rusthall, Capel and Hawkhurst.

The Liberal Democrats stand for social justice and freedom for all from discrimination. We fight hard for local people so that your voices are heard at the local and national level. We are currently holding the Conservative led TWBC to account for their plans for civic development. We are also calling for a doorstep glass recycling campaign, better bicycle lanes and supporting the 20 is Plenty Campaign.

We are always looking for new members and volunteers.
