Local campaigner and child minder, Allen Lear, is the Lib Dem candidate for the Southborough Town Council by election following the resignation of a conservative councillor. Allen lives in the ward and is self employed and supports his partner's career in science following his belief of gender equality. Their four year old son attends a local nursery and Allen has a keen interest in education as well as local politics.
