Jane Kinninmont's Bio
Jane is the Chief Executive Officer at the United Nations Association – UK. Previously she has held a number of leadership roles in charities, policy research and campaigning, working on issues from nuclear risk reduction to Middle East conflicts, at organisations including the European Leadership Network for Non-Proliferation and Disarmament, The Elders, and Chatham House. She has also worked as a risk analyst and forecaster with the Economist Intelligence Unit and Associate Director for the Middle East and Africa at the Economist Group. She comments regularly in the print and broadcast media and is a co-host of the Disorder podcast which looks at the messy state of our world and ways to improve it. Outside of work, Jane is a former music journalist, a published poet, and a mother of two fantastic girls who keep her on her toes.
